Carrot Tower Defense Maps

Every playable map in Carrot TD — layouts, rewards, vault secrets, and where to farm wins.

Map choice in Carrot Tower Defense shapes more than scenery. Path length, bend count, and secret rooms determine which bunny towers shine, how fast you earn wins, and whether you can access Mr. Jenkins' vault. At launch, Carrot TD offers two primary maps — Deep Tunnels and Woodlands — with more planned in future updates from Crumbling Crunchy Games. This overview compares both maps, links to dedicated strategy pages, and explains how difficulty modes change rewards across every layout.

How Map Selection Works

From the lobby you pick a map and a difficulty: normal for learning and farming, or Extreme Mode for 40 waves with 1 base HP and a 500-carrot clear reward. The same enemy roster appears on all maps, but path geometry changes which counters matter. Long straights favor Sniper Bunny and Ninja Rabbit; dense bends favor Goo Rabbit and Boom Rabbit. Your unit collection should eventually cover both — until then, choose the map that amplifies your strongest towers.

Wins accumulate globally toward unlocks like the vault terminal on Deep Tunnels. You need at least five wins before code 1416 works — full steps on Jenkins Vault and vault unlock guide. Woodlands does not contain the vault but remains excellent for practicing against special enemies in a forest layout.

Deep Tunnels — Vault Map

Deep Tunnels is the underground map and the only location for Mr. Jenkins' vault. Twisting tunnel paths include long straight segments ideal for sniper placement and mid-length bends for goo patches. Players farm Deep Tunnels for wins toward vault access, badge rewards, and bonus carrots after entering vault code 1416 — documented on vault codes.

Strategic highlights: place Sniper Bunny on the longest visible straight to chew through Munchers before boss waves; use Goo Rabbit at tunnel mouths to slow Cheeky Wheelers; keep Farmer Bunny safe on side tiles that do not block future DPS spots. Boss encounters like Gloster are manageable here if economy was built from wave 1. Read the full Deep Tunnels guide for vault location, pathing diagrams in prose, and Extreme Mode notes.

Woodlands — Forest Map

Woodlands trades tunnel straights for forest bends and clustered path segments. AoE towers — Boom Rabbit, Carrot Magician — overlap more enemies per shot when placed on inner corners. Camo Nibblers and Nibbler Carriers feel especially punishing here because waves bunch together exiting tree-lined turns.

Woodlands is the better map to practice special-enemy counters without vault distractions. Run Farmer Bunny plus dual AoE on opposing bends, add detection before wave 15, and save piercing DPS for Box Nibblers and late tanks. There is no vault on Woodlands — confirm you are on Deep Tunnels before searching for Mr. Jenkins. Full forest strategies live on the Woodlands guide.

Map Comparison Table

Map Theme Best For Vault

Woodlands Forest paths AoE overlap, special enemy practice, bend-heavy setups No

Rewards and Difficulty by Map

Normal difficulty on either map grants standard carrot payouts per win — fund for summoning Goo Rabbit and other rares. Extreme Mode pays 500 carrots on clear regardless of map, but demands ultra-rare teams from the tier list and zero leaks against every enemy type including Dmer General. Pick the map whose geometry matches your roster: sniper-heavy teams lean Deep Tunnels; AoE-heavy teams lean Woodlands.

Vault rewards (bonus carrots and badge) are map-specific to Deep Tunnels and separate from Extreme payouts. Do not confuse vault code 1416 with Roblox promo codes — see all codes for promo status. Jenkins Vault walkthrough with terminal location is on Jenkins Vault.

Choosing Your First Map

New players should start Woodlands or Deep Tunnels on normal difficulty with the starter trio from early game builds: Bonker Bunny, Sniper Bunny, Farmer Bunny. After three to five wins, shift to Deep Tunnels if vault unlock is your goal. If you struggle with camo and carriers, stay on Woodlands until your team includes detection and AoE from the special enemies guide.

Map mastery is one pillar of the noob to pro progression path. Pair map knowledge with economy discipline from economy builds and control familiarity on PC or mobile. Community-verified update notes appear on latest update when new maps ship.
